Thought for the Week
assistant principalship. He addresses disciplinary concerns, supports the development of school programs, and coordinates the PBIS team. Bobbie Strausbaugh is the epitome of what a principal looks for in an assistant principal. Each day she manages complex an endless stream of complex tasks, provides support for our students, seeks to help each professional grow, and provides a reflective ear and willing hand supporting my work as principal. Collectively, these two individuals served not only in their own roles but also in balancing the roles of the principalship until my appointment and helping me as I learned a new role and a new state. I cannot say enough about these two and their impact on our school community. Dover is truly lucky to be served by two dedicated and student-focused individuals. Our school is a better place because of the work they do each and every day. Thank you both for everything you do to support me, our staff, and our students at Dover. #DoverProud ShoutoutsGo Vote! A special shoutout to Leon Zellers for composing and performing the original musical selection featured in the video. Students Help Shape Our District Mission On Thursday a group of Dover students traveled to the Administration Building to take part in a collaborative activity. Their work is a portion of several district wide work sessions designed to help shape our district's new mission statement. They spent 2 hours reflecting on the ideal school district, crafting a story statement, and refining their statements into mission statements. Next time you are at the Admin Building stop in the Board Meeting Room and see their work hanging on the wall. Resource of the WeekWeekly Calendar (Printable Calendar)Monday, April 11
